We started this group to connect people who are interested in percussion instruments - performances, classes, etc., and to break down the walls between professionals and other interested parties. This group is for fans, enthusiasts, and hobbyists, as much as professional performers.

Drum Circles & Hand Drumming, Acoustic Instruments, Vocals and Poetry reading for all levels, the aim being to provide an introduction to the percussion techniques and rhythmical systems of Central Asian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern music.
